The Athena JS205 offers on-board dual filtration capability - and there are two separate filters that need to be purchased for the Athena. The Sediment or Fluoride filter goes into position #1 (left side filter housing), while the Biostone Select™ or Protector™ Red-D Ultra Filter goes into position #2 (right side filter housing) of your Athena water ionizer.
